We’re thrilled to announce that Volans Reposado has been named one of the Best Tequilas of 2024 by Uproxx, thanks to the dedication and expertise of our team and the visionary craftsmanship of our Master Distiller, Felipe Camarena. This recognition is a testament to the artistry and tradition that go into every bottle we produce.
The Heart of Volans: Master Distiller Felipe Camarena
We are proud to work with one of the most respected names in the tequila world, Felipe Camarena of El Pandillo Distillery. Felipe’s dedication to innovation and his commitment to preserving tradition are evident in every step of the process. From selecting the finest agaves grown in the Highlands of Jalisco to perfecting our unique distillation techniques, Felipe’s influence ensures that Volans is nothing short of exceptional.
Our Reposado, the star of the Uproxx list, reflects his expertise. Aged in American and French oak barrels, it offers a harmonious blend of smoothness and complexity, with notes of vanilla, caramel, and subtle spices. It’s a tequila crafted not just to be enjoyed but to be savored.
A Heartfelt Thanks
We extend our gratitude to Uproxx and contributing writer Dane Rivera for recognizing the passion and dedication behind Volans Tequila. Their rigorous blind tasting process ensures that the best tequilas are celebrated for their quality alone, and we are honored to be included on this list.
