Volans Ultra Premium Tequila was the highest-rated tequila at Taste Tequila’s “Tequila Challenge” held in July 2019. Volans Blanco is a small batch craft tequila made by our Master Distiller, Felipe Camarena at his El Pandillo Distillery, NOM 1579. Taste Tequila hosted restaurant owners, tequila industry, tequila aficionados, as well as tequila newbies to take part in this Tequila Challenge.
We are honored to be part of this blind tasting and are happy to be honored with a win among other great tequila brands.
The second-place tequila was San Matias Tahona Blanco (NOM 1103); Third place was Tapatio Blanco Tequila made by Carlos Camarena at LA Alteña Distillery (NOM 1139). Other participants were 123 Organic Tequila Blanco, El Jimador Blanco Tequila, and Cazadores Tequila Blanco.
