Restaurants – Bars in Boston, Massachusetts. Black Lamb was launched in July 2019 by restaurant partners Chef Colin Lynch, Heather Kennaway Lynch, Jefferson Macklin, and Beverage Director Ryan Lotz. Black Lamb is the team’s love letter to the South End neighborhood, following the success of their coastal Italian institution, Bar Mezzana, tropical hideaway, Shore Leave, and secret sushi bar, No Relation. Together, Chef de Cuisine Christian Bishop and Chef Colin Lynch will offer the friendly service for which he is renowned, along with a relaxed, modern American menu that features fresh spins on time-honored favorites. The guests will have access to a complete raw bar with daily oyster specials that emphasize regional bivalves. Mary Olivari, the pastry chef, creates a carefully chosen menu of indulgent dessert options. The smart cocktail menu created by Group Beverage Director Ryan Lotz has subtle variations on the classic, such as a Dirty Martini with black pepper for heat and olive oil for richness. The housemade rosé syrup will give Lotz’s traditional Mojito some more sharpness, and grapefruit and a handmade salted lime cordial will bring a little acidity to the Gimlet. Four draft lines boast the team’s favorite suds, and a wine list will offer well-known grapes from small producers who care about their craft.
