Restaurants – Bars in Denver, Colorado. Bellota is the result of Smoke and Acorn’s imaginative collaboration. Bellota, which translates to “acorn” in Spanish, draws on a common heritage and culture to offer a menu of vibrant regional Mexican delicacies that are steeped in tradition and custom. A half-dozen house-made salsas, family-style dishes, tacos with regional inspiration, and a plethora of dishes that make use of the wood-fired oven are all included in our a-la-carte menu. An agave-based bar program with Mexican beverages other than the margarita complements the food.
