Wild Mountain Huckleberries grow in the Pacific Northwest and have not been successfully cultivated, meaning they are 100% wild.  They are Idaho’s state fruit, high in vitamin A, B, C, potassium, iron, and are high in antioxidants.  They have an equally tart and sweet taste.  They were an important berry crop and used for their medicinal properties for the Native American tribes Northwestern U.S. and Canada.

If you’re having a hard time finding huckleberries you can substitute blueberries.
